Sporting activities are an important aspect of our school curriculum and students are encouraged to participate at all levels. Our school offers a variety of popular sports during weekly 30 minute physical education lessons and during the two interschool sport seasons.

During the Winter Interschool Sport season students in Years 4-6 can choose between rugby league, netball, boys soccer, girls soccer and boys and girls mixed hockey. In the summer season the choices are boys AFL, girls AFL, boys touch football, girls touch football and softball.

Access to our solar heated school pool provides the opportunity for all students from Prep to Year 6 to develop and improve their swimming skills and performance. Swimming lessons are the focus of Physical Education lessons during most of Terms 1 and 4. Lessons are conducted by the school's Physical Education Teacher with support from a swimming instructor employed by the P & C and parent volunteers. During the cooler months, Physical Education lessons focus on the development of ball skills, hand-eye coordination, fitness and major game and athletic skills.
Swimming, track and field and cross country are important components of the Physical Education and Sport Program. All students compete at school level, with talented students given the opportunities to progress on to district, regional and state competitions.
