Excursions

Throughout the school year, class groups undertake a number of well-planned curriculum-related excursions. These excursions are an integral part of the school program and enhance, through first-hand experience, many of the concepts the teachers are covering in their teaching and learning programs. Classroom teachers provide detailed information about excursions through newsletters and letters to parents. On most occasions, full school uniforms should be worn as the children concerned are representing our school.

Incursions

Throughout the year, our school participates in a range of whole school and year level incursions. Our whole school incursion program includes:

Year level incursions enhance many of the concepts taught in teaching and learning programs. Once again teachers provide detailed information about incursions through newsletters and letters to parents.

Camps

Camps enhance students' learning by providing opportunities for students to participate in activities outside the normal school routine. The Karalee State School camp program is available for all students in Years 4-6. The camp program commences with an overnight stay in Year 4 and progresses to a 4 day camp for students in Year 6.
