We are very excited to announce that our students are invited to take part in a Colour Blast Chaplaincy fundraiser on the 7th of June!  This event aims to be a great afternoon of colour and fun, combined with kicking off our NAIDOC week celebrations!

All the details:

Date:  Monday 7 June 2021 from 1:45-2:45.

Registrations:  $10 donation includes colour blast run, sunnies, wristband and ice block.Donations of $20 or more includes all of the above, plus a native plant to be taken home or donated back to the school for planting.

Why:  Your donation ensures that our Chaplaincy service and programs can continue running strong in our school.  Chappies work beautifully in the ‘preventative’ space; catching students in the early stages of needing support, before intervention is needed.  Chappies are a listening ear and caring presence in the school grounds, always looking for ways to help students thrive at school.  Our Chappy, Jilanna, also runs small groups to help our students find better ways to cope with worry, anxiety and develop vital resiliency and friendship skills.

Location:  Karalee State School Junior Oval.  Students can be collected from the oval after the event.

Participants:  Open to all staff and students.  You must register for your child to take part.  Donations are appreciated, but not required to participate.

Payment and registration forms:

Permission forms and cash can be returned to the school office.  Please return your registration form by Monday 31 May.

We can’t wait to see our students and staff covered in colour on the 7th of June!  Parents are welcome to come and watch our colour blast take place.  If you’d like to volunteer to help on the day, please contact Chappy Jilanna.  Thanks for your support of this fantastic event!
