P&C Successful in Heritage Bank Grant Application for New Senior Playground
Mr Freeman is pleased to announce that the Karalee P&C has been successful in their application for a grant of $22 500 for a new playground on the Senior Oval. The Karalee P&C will generously match this contribution to ensure the provision of high quality play equipment for our students.
Louise Rovera, Corrin Bischoff and Nikki Sims-Chilton have worked hard over the past few months writing grant applications to support the financing of improvements to the outdoor spaces at Karalee State School. We are awaiting news on our Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant application and if successful, we will be looking to upgrade existing seating and shade on the Senior Oval and around other areas where the students eat their lunch.
Works are expected to commence on the new playground in the next few months and we anticipate the new playground to be functional before the end of Term Three.
This model, with a few tailored adjustments, is what the new playground will look like.
