Information on the presentation is included below:
This presentation will be the ThinkUKnow Adult Presentation (Australian Federal Police) that focuses on Cyber safety including Cyberbullying for all children and young people.
This presentation aims to empower parents with confidence to support, help and guide their children and young people in their life, to stay safe online when using technology.
It’s also an avenue for parents and students to have an open dialogue with their children around cyber safety on a regular basis whereby an Online Family Agreement can be arranged so that all parties are across the expectations of the use of the technology in the home.
Topics that will be included in this presentation are:
• Technology and young people
• Social networking
• The challenges
• Privacy and children’s information Terms and Conditions
• Respectful relationship
• Online grooming
• Managing reputation
• How to take action
